ARCHITECTURAL AND INTERIOR DESIGN OF RESIDENCE FOR A COUPLE WITH TWO CHILDREN.
THIS HOUSE DESIGN CONCEPT MERGED BY THE LONGITUDINAL SECTION OF THE PLOT: THERE WAS A GREAT SLOPE OF 4 METERS BETWEEN THE FRONT AND THE BACK. FOR THIS REASON, THE GARAGES AND INFRASTRUCTURES WERE PLACED SEMI-BURIED AT THE ACCESS LEVEL.
ABOVE THIS LEVEL IS THE SOCIAL AREA. LARGE OPENINGS TO THE FRONT TERRACE – OVER THE GARAGES – AND TO THE BACKYARD – ON THE HIGHEST PART OF THE LAND PROVIDES THE SOCIAL AREA EXCELLENT CROSS VENTILATION AND LIGHTING. THE TV ROOM AND THE LIVING ROOM ENJOYS DOUBLE HEIGHT CEILINGS AND ARE FULLY INTEGRATED WITH THE DINING ROOM AND THE KITCHEN. ON THIS FLOOR WERE ALSO PLACED THE ENTRANCE HALL, A TOILET, A HOME-OFFICE AND THE LAUNDRY.
IN THE UPPER FLOOR IS THE INTIMATE AREA OF THE RESIDENCE: A MASTER SUITE WITH CLOSET AND TWO SUITES FOR THE CHILDREN. BETWEEN THE SUITES, THERE IS A STUDY ROOM OPEN TO THE MEZZANINE AND TO STAIRWAY, WHICH IS LIT BY A SKYLIGHT.
ON THE ROOFTOP, THERE IS A GREEN ROOF FOR BETTER THERMAL COMFORT, SOLAR PANELS FOR WATER HEATING AND A RAINWATER REUSE SYSTEM.
